Our Guiding Values

The Newark Community Cooperative includes your local Delaware grocery store, Newark Natural Foods, Cafe 67, one of  and the C0-Op Farmers Market, one of Delaware's Farmers Markets in Northern DE. Below is our guiding mission.

We, the members of the Newark Community Cooperative, will lead cultural transformation by nurturing economic, ecological, and social sustainability in the greater Newark community by:

Fostering food security through better access and affordability

Connecting with our community and welcoming all

Empowering healthy and sustainable living through education

Promoting a stronger and more resilient local economy with an emphasis on local production

Maintaining our commercial viability
